Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:
Okay I am going to be extremely honest, I have no idea what this book is about. I signed up for this review opportunity with Xpresso Book Tours a couple of weeks ago and I have a tendency not to remember what I sign up for. But I am super excited to get to this book. It looks super interesting and like something that I desperately need to read.
Writing Thoughts:
The writing in this book is absolutely amazing and addicting. I loved every moment reading this book! The pages seemed to blur into one as I kept reading. It was absolutely superb. There was really good pacing with the writing and I thought that everything worked well in favor of the book.
Plot Thoughts:
Now that I have officially read the synopsis. It sounds super interesting!
The book definitely had some amazing moments, unfortunately there was a lot of fluff and what I considered to being boring scenes. It took a while for the story to start and even then the author had a tendency to include unnecessary or sometimes redundant information in between the plot changers. But overall, I thought that the plot was well thought through and definitely entertaining.

Character Thoughts:
I did not like Eion from the moment that we were introduced to her. I really didn't like her and knew that something was up. On the other hand, I really enjoyed reading from he perspective our main character, Helia, she was lively and incredible interesting. I also liked the romantic interests that were introduced, both had a little something that worked in their favor and honestly I cannot wait for more.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I will definitely be keeping my eye out for the second one. The writing in this book was addictive and honestly I wish there was more to read just so that I could get more that writing. I enjoyed the plot, but there were some unnecessary moments. However it was still an action filled story that kept you on the edge of your seat waiting for more action and fiery dialogue. Thank you once again to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy of this book.
Yours in Reading,
Melleny
