Told in her hilarious, bold voice that’s inspired over nine million fans, and using stories from her own life to illustrate her message, Lilly proves that there are no shortcuts to success.

Book Review:
Pre-Reading Thoughts:

I've been waiting for this book to make its way to South Africa and it is finally here. I first saw it at the bookstore I work at and then I thought I would try my luck with Penguin. Honestly I am so excited for this.

Thank you so much to Penguin Random House South Africa for sending me a copy fo this book. Just a small disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Final Thoughts:

I really liked this book. I often only take one or two things away from these types of books but something was different about How to be a Bawse. I love Lilly's videos. They always make me feel inspired and they make me laugh and this book was no different. You can tell that she put all of her effort into this book. She also didn't write for the sake of writing. Every word was like a breath of wisdom. She gave tips and gave real life experiences that were both funny but also relatable. This is perfect for those who want to succeed at life. You'll definitely learn something with this book but it will also reinforce what a lot of us know. Thank you so much to Penguin Random House South Africa for sending me a copy of this book!

Yours in Reading,

Melleny
