Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

I am so excited to read this book. The moment I saw that there was a chance to sign up for the blog tour, I jumped at it. This book was on my most anticipated releases for this year so I am so happy that I get to read it!

Thank you so much to Xpresso Blog Tours for providing me with a copy of this book to review. Just a small disclaimer for those who are reading this review. I have received this book for free. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

I found that the writing was okay. It felt as though the writing lacked a lot of detail because there was not a lot of description when it came to the characters themselves. There was also little detail to the surroundings. I think that it relied too much on the reader's own experience and knowledge of airports. When it comes to the detail of the characters, there some details like length of hair or comparisons to other existing characters. But personally, I wanted more. I also felt as though the dialogue was rushed.

Plot Thoughts:

The whole book felt a little rushed. I don't know if it was the author was going for. The sense of panic and just trying to get somewhere. But I needed up feeling like I was waiting for something more. More elaboration or more events to fill some spaces. When it came to certain events, they felt too brief. The events in themselves seemed unrealistic sometimes. I felt like I was reading a fantasy of someones. I didn't like the fact that the main character couldn't ignore her ex without the agenda of making him jealous. I was also sad that the author missed the opportunity to explore the relationship between the main characters and the second love interest. With that being said, the plot definitely had some things that worked for it.

Character Thoughts:

I felt as though the characters would have been so much more. They lacked depth and strong individuality. They had characteristics that made them different from each other but it needed to be more fleshed out. I believe that if there was more in-depth, then the characters would be more developed.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I was not in love with this book. I think that the if you are looking for a quick and cute story, then you will find it in this book. I think that it a perfect book to read in-between two heavy books. I didn't get to swoon as much as I wanted but in the end, I did enjoy the book. It definitely had merit and was a book that really helped me to pick up my reading pace. I thought that the ending was well thought out. It was an ending that I didn't really see coming or consider.  Thank you so much to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy of this book.
