Is he capable of completing such a heinous task? And what price will he pay if he refuses?

Book Review:

Please note that due to the fact that this is a novella, I will not be doing a full review. Instead this review will be my overall thoughts as this book is not a full novel but a novella.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The writing was well balanced when it came to the detail and dialogue. I did feel as though the plot could have been stretched out a bit. I was really enjoying what happened and I wanted to get a little bit more depth of the characters who would I believe would end up being prominent in the rest of the series. I think that Rowan has a lot of potential but just like the plot I wanted a little more depth to him. I did, however, enjoy the friendship between him and Marcus. It did a good job of lightening the story. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book which is one of the things the author does well. You do not want to finish this book without having the next one on hand. Thank you so much to Xpresso Tours for providing me with a copy of this book. Please note that all thoughts are my own.
