With the help of her best friend Franklin, she comes up with the perfect plan to have a boyfriend by Christmas: The Boyfriend Bracket.
Or it seems like the perfect plan...right up until Will starts showing up again. How is she supposed to find the perfect boyfriend when none of her dates measure up to the one boy she can never have?

Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

I absolutely love the brother's best friend trope so I am super excited for this book! I have expectations for it to be mushy and absolutely adorable.

Thank you so much to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy of this book. Just a small disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book for free. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

I liked the writing. It had a good pace for the most part. It did seem like the pace was off in some places but overall it was steady. I seemed to really fly through this book. I did feel like the author told us a lot of information instead of showing it despite there being detail.

Plot Thoughts:

I liked the plot. It was cute and had me swooning left, right and centre. There were a couple moments where it was a little cliche but my gosh did it work. I just wanted to keep reading the book, it was so adorable however, I was kind of sad that we didn't get to read more about Franklin. I also wish we got to have a little more elaboration. I wanted to read more about the dates that Stella went on. I definitely think the book could have been longer.

Character Thoughts:

The shortness of the book really impacted the character development. There wasn't any development. I felt like Stella was a little childish sometimes. However, despite them being a little bland, I really enjoyed reading about these characters.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I liked the book. It is a perfect summer contemporary and for those in the single club, it is so adorable. It will make you wish you had a brother with a best friend. The writing was easy to get into and it allowed the book to fly by quite quickly. The plot was definitely swoon-worthy and lived up to that aspect but I wish there was little more content. The book was too short for character development but I did enjoy reading about the character's lives. Overall the book wasn't too bad. Definitely, the perfect book if you want to read something quickly or you want to beat that reading slump. Thank you so much to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy of the book.
