Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:
When Oftomes Publishing asked on twitter for reviewers I just had to jump on this bandwagon. I love all the books that the publishing company has published and I simply could not wait to get into this one. Not only is the cover really pretty but I have the biggest respect for Wattpad writers because people can be cruel on there. I cannot wait to jump into this book. Thank you to Oftomes Publishing for providing me with a copy of this book. Please note that in no way has receiving this book affected my opinion. All thoughts are my own.
Writing Thoughts:
There was a lot of dialogue in this book which helped with getting through it quite quickly. The author was also not too specific when it came to places which I quite enjoyed because I got to make the story my own in terms of how I think the place looked liked. The writing was also really easy to get through. It was so nice and definitely helped to life me out of the little slump I was in after reading Americanah.
Plot Thoughts:
This book was filled to the brim with action. I loved it. It was absolutely perfect and just kept you reading and reading. I had no idea how I put it down. We start the story off with a mystery that slowly unfolds but as it unfolds, things get in tense. I loved every moment. I sat on the edge of my seat constantly. I just wanted to know what was going to happen and every time the author would provide us with information that only slightly feeds our curiosity before it grows to see where the new information fits in.
Character Thoughts:
I liked all the characters. Lately this has been super rare because some characters just tend to rub me the wrong sometimes but all of the characters in this book was so well written. I was in love for sure. I loved that every character had their small quirk. It was interesting to read about and see how it ties into the plot.
Final Thoughts:
I loved how well thought through this book felt. It was well written, the plot was enticing and the characters were lovable. I would definitely say that this book has made it onto my favorites list for this year. I was blown away by how addicted I was to the plot. I highly recommend this to everyone to read. I am positive that there will be at least one thing that you love about this story! Thank you to Oftomes Publishing for providing me with a copy of this book. I absolutely loved it!
Yours in Reading,
Melleny
