Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

I have been loving this series. I was absolutely surprised by how much I loved the first book and then the second book blew me away. I am so ready for this book.

Thank you so much to Penguin Random House South Africa for providing me with a copy of this book. Just a small disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book for free. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

The pacing in this book was insane. I felt the flow of this book and the writing just pulled me in. If you would like to see more of my thoughts, you can find it here.

Plot Thoughts:

Wow. Just wow. This book sent me on an emotional rollercoaster. It was insane but in the best way possible. This book was so well planned. I was stuck in the action, unable to get out of. It has been a while since I have read this book and I am still awed by what happened. My heart broke and healed and I was finally able to see what so many people have said about Warner.

Character Thoughts:

Juliette is an incredible three-dimensional character. Her conflicts felt realistic and I found how she dealt with certain problems intriguing. Warner was probably the character that stood out the most for me. He really stood out whilst I felt as if Adam kind of took a step back in terms of development.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, this book was incredible. This is series is hands down one of the best YA series out there. If you haven't had the chance to pick it up, then I highly recommend that you make some space for it. This book tugged at my emotions and it made me forget what the real world was like. I loved how Juliette and Warner's relationship moved out of the norm. Thank you so much to Penguin Random House South Africa for providing me with a copy of this book!

Yours in Reading,
Melleny
