Book Review:
Pre-Reading Thoughts:

After the first book, I just cannot wait to jump into this. I was blown away and I hope that this book will do the same.

Thank you so much to Entangled Teen for providing me with a copy of this book. Just a small disclaimer for this reading this review. I have received this book for free. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts;

If you would like to see my thoughts on the authors writing, you can find it here.

Plot Thoughts:

The plot in this book was a lot slower. Things took a while to get going but at the end of the day it made for a really good plot. The amount of tension building that goes into this book is insane. I also really liked that we got to see a lot more Ellie's skills as a con artist at work. The mystery that is always present in this book is really well done because I can never guess what it is. I also like how the book has one main goal that gets broken down. As said in the book problem A to Z.

Character Thoughts:

I liked that we got to meet more characters in this book. The cast was already large but by adding in more characters, Cross made the book seem more wholesome. I really liked that we got to see more of Dominic. It allowed us to shed some light onto who he is as a character and what he stands for. This also allowed him to go through some character development.
Final Thoughts:

Overall, I liked this book. The book suffered a little for me because I read the two of them straight after each other but it was still a great follow up. These books just highlight why Julie Cross is such a well known author. She is amazing at writing books. The detail and the care that she puts in has clearly taken time to form. The plot in this book was a little slower but at the end of the day it was just as intense. The characters were amazing. There was a lack of dimension when it came to some of the main side characters but the main characters remained well developed. Thank you so much to Entangled Teen for providing me with a copy of this book to review.
